This particular retreat was special because it was the first time since 2019’s gathering in Stillwater, MN that we were all able to be together in person. After countless Zoom meetings, emails, and Slack messages sent back and forth these past couple of years, it was wonderful to finally have the opportunity to spend some quality time with one another.
The theme of this year’s gathering was “TPC Connect”. Whether it was a structured learning session, a casual chat over breakfast, or a big group circle conversation, connection—to one another, to our values as a company, and to our shared vision for the future— was our primary focus throughout the week.
On a bittersweet note, this was Cicily’s final TPC retreat, as she will be officially retiring at the end of this year. Saying farewell to Cicily has been difficult on everyone at TPC, but all were grateful to be able spend a few days soaking up her wisdom and enjoying her legendary sense of humor and adventure.
We wrapped up our time together in Lake Geneva feeling invigorated and excited for the year to come. A big thanks from everyone at TPC to the Retreat Planning Committee for finally giving us the opportunity to “connect” in person!
